Recessed Can Lighting was the big thing in the 1960's, 70's and early 80's, but sort of out-of-style now especially with high energy costs. Easy to install, just unscrew the can bulb and screw in the socket adaptor, set the hanging cord to the overall height you want and install the cover-plate. It is that simple. Comes as a complete kit: Genuine White Scavo Glass shade 5.5" wide by 6.5" high, 48" of black cord, ceiling plate and socket adaptor. Takes up to 100-watts, but use a 26-watt CFL for 100-watts of brightness while you save money and energy. Ceiling cover-plate is 7.75" diameter.
