Circa 1970, George Kovacs designed his 'save your marriage' dual wall mounted lamp for his own use and soon found he had stumbled onto a much needed item. The idea is simple enough: a double light mounted on the wall behind bed, desk or chain to provide excellent reading light. Simple enough, but George made the idea really work by (1) focusing the light so it does not light up the whole bed or room area, (2) providing 2 full-range dimmers so each user can select his or her light level and (3) making 3 flex-points so the user can put the light exactly where it is needed. The lamps go up and down, sideways to sideways and back and forth. All you need to do is hang the lamp and plug it in. Two years ago my wife installed one over our bed. Everything she needed was included including mounting anchors. She timed the installation at 17 minutes flat including measuring for the bed-center-point. And I have got to tell you this is the best bed reader lamp we have ever had, and we've had plenty. Dimensions: 24" minimum height needed, 46" maximum width, each arm is 21" overall length. Wall plate is 16" x 4.75", 2 x 50-watt low voltage MR16 Halogen bulbs included, 2 full on/off full range dimmer turn switches. Steel construction with a Mission Sable Bronze Finish. #GKP4400BZ Bright Spot Price Including Free UPS Shipping - if you read at night you are going to love this lamp. Just plug in and enjoy.
