Authentic lamp at an authentically good price point. c1915 classic Mission design featuring a Chevron Shade over a Tower Base with Chevron's tooled right into the casting mold. The shade is 100% art glass both copper foiled And hand leaded. The Chevron pattern has the Chevron’s pointed down probably reflective of the massive casualty lists coming out of France as the Great War spins out of control. The Tower Base also has the Chevrons pointed down for the same reason. Black Coffee Bronze Finish on base. The artist is unknown, but the design and follow-through are quite original and genuinely artistic in nature. 21.5" tall, 14" square shade, 2 x 60-watts on quality pullchains.
